I received this necklace as a gift from my mother. It is in no way too small for an adult. I wear it all the time and absolutely love it. It really just depends on how big/small you like your jewelry.

While this necklace is pretty, it is very small and delicate and much more suited to a child than an adult. This is difficult to see in the online pictures.
