Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Product Description The classic beauty and versatility of pearl stud earrings make them a standard in any jewelry collection. These exceptional pearl studs feature large South Sea cultured pearls, set on posts of 14 karat yellow gold. The pearls are well matched for size and shape and have a gorgeous high luster and a diameter of between 9 and 10 millimeters. They fasten with 14 karat yellow gold friction back closures. The exquisite South Sea cultured pearl is a rare and beautiful gem. South Sea pearls are cultivated inside the white-lipped variety of the pinctada maxima oyster. Grown and nurtured in the northern waters of Australia, the Philippines, and Indonesia, these oysters produce lustrous large round pearls with a distinctive silvery-white color. Because the process is time consuming and the oysters are highly sensitive to cultivation, South Sea pearls are rare and quite valuable. Noted for their size, smoothness, and lovely round shape, South Sea pearls make an extraordinary gift.

Very nice! July 31, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
These earrings are quite nice. They're a little too big though so they look somewhat awkward on my ears. If you have big ears then these might be good for you!
Beautiful silvery color January 27, 2008 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
I ordered these pearls for myself. They are as nice or nicer than described in the ad. I wish I could afford a string of them!
