Amazon.com Product Description
This three-stone Moissanite ring captures attention with its fiery brilliance. A substantial round-cut Moissanite stone takes center stage, held in a four prong setting of gleaming 14 karat white gold and framed by two additional Moissanite stones in three-prong settings. All three stones are held aloft--securely, but with minimal metal interference--allowing the light to filter through their facets and maximize their optical performance. The Moissanite stones featured here are near colorless and have a total weight equivalent to 2 carats. They are featured on a 14 karat white gold shank with a smooth polished finish.

About Moissanite
Moissanite by Charles & Colvard is a uniquely beautiful near-colorless jewel that outperforms diamonds in terms of brilliance, luster, and fire. Also known as silicon carbide, Moissanite is a naturally occurring mineral found in limited quantities or as small particles in the earth. Large natural crystals are extremely rare, which prohibits their use in jewelry making. Recently, Charles & Colvard developed a method of duplicating this outstanding jewel, using a patented thermal growing process. The process is very difficult and expensive, thus preventing mass production. Moissanite jewels are cut to very specific proportions designed to maximize their brilliance.
