Faulty cables September 20, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The ring actually looked nice, but the quality was a huge disappointment...after wearing it for about three days, one of the cables became loose and would catch on to my clothes...ended up returning the ring.
Way expensive for what you are getting. July 9, 2008 20 out of 22 found this review helpful
Ok, the ring is nice indeed, good looking and feels comfortable.
But I got loads of complain about it. First of all, it came with a small dent (clearly visible though) on the side, as if it were hit with a small hammer or something. Secondly, one of the black cables didn't seem to fit perfectly, like when you cut a rope and the threads won't stay close to each other.
Other than that, I got disappointed that the surface got easily scratched in the 1st day I wore it... By simply grabbing a glass of water, it got a few scratches on the back. In a week or so, it became opaque, ugly and all scratched up.
Then, in 2 weeks of use, I accidentally dropped it (well, accidents happen, am I right?) and one of the black cables on the front simply popped out and broke into pieces. I removed the other one so it doesn't look all that bad (still would look nicer with the black cables).
I have no complains regarding the seller, I simply didn't return it because I don't live in the US and asked my sister to receive and bring it for me (she was on a short trip, a few days). Only after she came home I could lay my hands on this and notice all that. That's why I didn't even tried to return it.
As stated on title, it is overpriced. If it were like $20, I wouldn't complain about this ring's quality. I was expecting something more resistant for the $70. If you are extra-careful (by that I mean removing the ring every time you touch a door knob, every time you grab a glass of water, etc) then it might be worth it. Otherwise, overpriced and not worth it.
