A captivating emerald is framed by a halo of 12 sparkling diamonds in this beautifully designed ring, crafted from 14 karat yellow gold. The oval emerald has a very good cut and a rich green color enhanced by a jardin, or set of natural fissures, that deepens its vivid garden shades. The 12 small round diamonds (.09 cttw) are arranged in an oval slightly below the emerald. They are near colorless, with a color grading of I-J, and they have a very good cut and a minimum clarity of I3. All 13 stones are set above a smooth, wide band of polished yellow gold. The band tapers as it wraps the finger, for a comfortable fit and feel.

Yet another good choice November 2, 2008
This review would have been a lot different than 4 stars. Let me explain. All the jewelry I have purchased from Amazon has been amazing! So I had no reason to think this Emerald and Diamond ring would be any different. However, upon opening and examining the center stone (the Emerald), it appeared crooked in the setting, almost like it was too small and the prongs were not exactly right. So I pondered what to do, because on visiting their return website, it didn't look like I could get a replacement jut a refund. So I figured I must have gotten the last one. Doing a little more digging revealed that I could indeed get a replacement. The new ring arrived a short time later, and this center stone appeared much larger and better quality too. My wife is thrilled. She finally has an Emerald ring, and at a very reasonable price and in 14kt gold to boot. Very happy! Thanks Amazon for making it right.
