Your favorite Disney/Pixar properties are now on the auction block, so make your way around the board as you buy, sell and trade your way to the top of the lot.Includes a gameboard, title deed cards, money and banker's tray, six Littlest Pet Shop pet pawns, 16 catnip cards, 16 doggie treat cards, 12 dogs homes, 32 pet carriers, two dice and instructions. Great fun, but lack of female character's is a disappointment January 6, 2009 I am a collector of Monopoly games and have always been impressed by the diverse selection of tokens available for each game - it's so fun to see if your favorite character made it in. With this Pixar Edition, this did not fail, it was just as exciting to see all my favorite Pixar characters, but the disappointment lay in the characters I did not see. Each Pixar movie has at least one female, so I was rather perplexed by the fact that one could not be included in the game. The only near female token is the Sully one that comes with Boo on his shoulder, other than that no Jesse from Toy Story or any other's you may be looking for. When I debuted this game at my monthly game night last month everyone had a great time, but about 80% of my guests also pointed this out. As much as I love this game, and as fun as it is to play, I find this an unfortunate oversite, thus the deduction of one star is required.
Great Game December 31, 2008 This is going to be a classic in my house. Design of game is gorgeous. I got a great deal on this paying only $12.99 when I got it on sale. Would never pay $30 for any monopoly but this was well worth it.
Begging to play December 5, 2008 I asked my son the other day what would make him happiest. He made me proud when he said he'd like to play more games in boxes with our family. I couldn't believe it wasn't video games or TV or movies.
This game is everyone's favorite, they beg and beg to play. They love the Disney characters, places and the Disney themed Chance and Community Chest cards.
The tokens are cute too. I like being Sully.
Fun for the whole family November 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
At our home, Monopoly has always been a family favorite. We like to collect the different editions of it to spice it up. This one is a great edition. Cute characters and buildings and fun things to buy. We have a blast playing it and look forward to getting it out.
Perfect for Your Little Movie Buff November 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is very nice and includes all your favorite modern characters.
My son is young so we're not opening the monies and properties yet, but he loves to play with the 6 sturdy pieces (supervised, of course).
