The pearls looked like something from the "Five & Dime" store. They had dents, scalely surfaces that had "blisters" and were peeling. The color was dull and lusterless. BUT, their customer service was good. They answered a question quickly AND did refund my money promptly. How they ever figured these were worth more than 1K is beyond comprehension.

These pearls are for a Christmas gift for my 21 year old daughter. I took them to a jewelers to get an appraisal. He suggested a $650 value then asked how much I paid and where I got them. He was amazed at the price I paid and then added that I got a great buy. The pearls are just beautiful.
