No more rummaging in a jewelry box or drawer for that particular pair of earrings. This double-sided organizer features eighty pockets, forty on each side--and because the pockets are made of vinyl, one glance is all that's needed to find the desired object. The backing is made of natural cotton canvas with five snaps that attach it to the included brushed aluminum hanger. Although the organizer is meant to hang in a closet, it could also be hung near a craft table and used to hold beads, embroidery thread, buttons, anything imaginable.  Jewelry Organizer - A true Upgrade! September 13, 2008

I had been using a white vinyl hanging jewelry organizer in my closet for about 6 years. It was an economical purchase, but over time, the flimsy vinyl just didn't stand up to daily use. But I love the concept, so I decided to order the Whitney Design 80 Pocket Cotton CANVAS jewelry organizer to replace my tattered and torn vinyl version and am VERY pleased with this purchase. I have recently returned to work, and enjoy coordinating business casual outfits with colorful, funky earrings and unique accessories that I have collected over 25 years. I don't have to paw through my jewelry box, but can view earring options at a glance. HINT: For the anal retentive, mine are organized by color spectrum row. My silver and gold tone earrings are all on one side, and colorful options are on the reverse. For smaller earrings, I put 2-3 in a single pocket, no worries. THIS WAS A GREAT UPGRADE OF A PROVEN PRODUCT. ENJOY!

This is a great idea for storing jewelry. I don't think this was really designed for bulky costume jewelry, but works great for smaller necklaces, bracelets, rings, anklets and some earrings (not studs).

This is a wonderful organizer. The size of the product is a bit too big and there are not many pockets big enough to fit bigger necklaces and bracelets. But overall a good product.

I bought this for my daughter's hair pretties. Each pair of pony-o's, barettes, scrunchies fits perfectly into one pocket. The pockets are clear so the pretties are easy to see. My daughter can now choose her own pretties and put them away by herself. We used to keep them in a dresser drawer and couldn't see what we owned. This organizer hangs in her closet so it's not taking up a lot of space and keeps her very organized!
Perfect for a pin person April 9, 2008
I've been looking for something to keep my pin collection in, and this is it! While I agree with other reviewers that the pockets seem tight for necklaces and bracelets, they are PERFECT for pins. Because of the design, I never imagined this as a travel accessory, but rather an easy way to keep my collection organized and ready for me to wear. Nothing compares in my mind, it will put my collection right in the closet with my clothes, so that I can pick out a pin when I select my outfit for the day....what could be better. I need that kind of convenience, or they just sit in the case or drawer and don't get worn. I'm inspired to add to my collection!
