Buy a Real YOGA Mat, not this December 31, 2008 This is the worst Yoga mat that I have ever owned....the worst. Anytime I do updog or downdog the mat actually begins stretching beneath me. This is just terrible. It isn't even good for doing a sit up.
Very comfy and does not move November 23, 2008 This product was everything I wanted. It is thick enough to be comfortable when laying on hard surface floors and it does not move around while exercising.
Superthick mat easy on the knees! October 18, 2008 I researched a lot of mats and this is the one that seemed to be the thickest, something that's really important for the knees. This product totally delivered on "thick"! I love this mat!
Not for yoga... September 20, 2008 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
But probably great for pilates and floor exercises. I found my mat migrating around the yoga studio with me on it...not sticky enough. And as another reviewer mentioned, it's a bit too thick for balancing on safely. If you've a bad back/knees, I can see where these issues may be overlooked to keep your sore bits comfortable during your yoga practice. I ended up doing all my standing poses on the floor, as my balance isn't great to begin with! Plenty long for me, and I'm 5'8. It did smell initially, but I left it outside for a few days and no more stink. Nicely made, but not exactly what I needed.
good mat September 10, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
My husband and I recently moved from an apartment with carpet to a house with hardwood floors. These mats provide the right cushion for yoga in the new house. My only complaint is that it isn't wide enough for some moves, so I usually push two of them together.
