Product Description Hot yoga devotees, meet your new favorite prop. Placed on top of a yoga mat, this super absorbent, microfiber towel wicks away moisture and dries in half the time of a cotton towel even after hot yoga classes like Bikram. 24"W x 68"L. 75% nylon/25% polyester. Made in China.
Amazon.com Product Description Yoga towels come in handy in several situations--as a top layer for your yoga mat, as a yoga mat substitute when a mat isn't available, or while performing "hot" yoga. When used with a yoga mat, this microfiber towel from Gaiam keeps you from slipping while adding a hygienic barrier to the floor. However, it also excels as a regular towel, with a super-absorbent construction that mops up sweat during a particularly energizing routine. The same size as a standard Gaiam yoga mat, the towel is fashionable and effective. About Gaiam Gaiam was created as a lifestyle company with the vision that, given a choice, people would choose a lifestyle that is healthy and life enhancing, for themselves, their families and the Earth. The Gaiam lifestyle is a vote for individual health as well as the future sustainability of the Earth's resources. debijane January 1, 2009 This towel takes very little space in my Yoga bag and is bigger than my bath towels which this is used for.
Not so much... December 18, 2008 Pretty color, but moves around a lot and is basically like any other towel from home. I suggest buying the "Hot Yoga Mat Towel 2 Pack for Bikram Ashtanga Iyengar" - these towels are the best for my Bikram practice, so much so that I even wrote a review :)
GREAT FOR BIKRAM November 29, 2008 I have used yogitoes towels in bikram for a long time but i got this as a gift and it is just as good, possibly more absorbent although moves a little but it works great for bikram, i will never spend the money on YogiToes towels again
Don't waste your money October 25, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
If you do hot yoga, do not waste your money. The towel slides all over the place and is basically useless. Spend the extra money and go for the Yogitoes towel instead
Great yoga towel for the price October 19, 2008 I think this is a great product. It sometimes wrinkles during yoga but you can't beat the price. I will probably buy another Gaiam Thirsty towel in the near future.
